Brooklyn Bridge

24 Mai 1883 – New York , este inaugurat Podul Brooklyn, care traverseaza East River.Proiectat de John Augustus Roebling, podul masoara 1,825 m, iar construtia sa a durat 13 ani, incepand in Ianuarie 1870, avand un cost estimat de 15,000,000 USD. Este considerat „National Historic Landmark”.
